Child labour is one of problems and old examples of violation of human rights. Of course, complete elimination of child labour often is not possible; According to this, endeavours have made in order to prohibit and eliminate merely those categories of works which are intolerable, illicit, harmful, or hazardous for children at the international level under leadership of ILO. "The Convention on the Worst Forms of Child Labour", prepared by ILO in 1999, is the culmination of these efforts that received unprecedented universal acceptability during a short time after its approval. Each member ratifying this Convention must take immediate and effective measures to secure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labour as a matter of urgency. In spite of importance of this convention and accession's Iran, it has not been considered in our legal literature. Therefore, we seek to study it in this article. Furthermore, the glance over other related international instruments and Iranian regulations will be useful.
