Historical Background
The Quarterly Journal of Private Law Studies was formerly published as the Quarterly Journal of Law for 7 years, from Spring 2007 to Spring 2014, producing 25 issues. Prior to that, from 1970 to the end of 2006, 74 issues were published under the title Journal of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, featuring articles on legal and political studies.
According to license number 3/18/211191 dated 22 January 2013 (1391/11/3) issued by the Commission for the Evaluation of Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, this journal holds scientific journal status.
The specialized journal Quarterly Journal of Private Law Studies is the official scientific publication of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Tehran, publishing peer-reviewed research articles in the humanities in Persian. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in other journals nor simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
